From the Club President:

To all members we are finally able to open our golf season and I am sure everyone is very happy to be able to get out and play golf. Oakdale will be opening on Monday the 4th at 8 am. With that said it will be very different. At this time I would like to introduce our new club manager, Keagan Easter. He has come into a difficult situation. He has been preparing for over 3 weeks so we can comply with the state restrictions which were just finalized yesterday. The club house has been closed and all transactions will be handled at the side window. All rules will be posted with signs. The state requires PARK, PLAY, AND GO HOME. One you should be aware of before booking a tee time is people can only play in the county they live in unless they are a member at Oakdale and live in a different county. We have had to discontinue gang busters due to the state rules. Keagan has come up with a plan so that those who like to compete can do so. He will explain it later. We expect all players to follow the rules as the state will be monitoring us and can shut us down. Fred Shardlow has the course in the best condition for this time of the year ever. Because the club house is closed there will be a portable toilet available with a sanitizing station outside. By state law all tee times must be booked by phone. Payments for green fees and carts must be paid for when booking tee times. Members must still call for tee times. Any members can download a membership form. Please fill out clearly as many in the past we have not been able to read. You may either mail in with payment or bring it when you come to play for the first time. We are trying to use credit cards as much as possible but we can accept cash. Also all golf carts will be limited to one person per cart including member carts. This will not be golf as we all know it but we will make the best of it until things can change. TEE TIMES WILL BE TAKEN ON FRIDAY MAY 1 AND SATURDAY MAY 2 BETWEEN 10 AND 2 FOR NEXT WEEK.
